These terms apply to your use of Wordwell. Using the site means you accept them.

What the site is for

Wordwell offers word games for enjoyment and practice. You may play as much as you like and link to any page. Teachers are welcome to use the games in lessons.

What is not allowed

Please do not republish the games, the guides or the question banks elsewhere, flood the site with automated requests, or interfere with its operation or its advertising.

Accuracy

We have taken care over spellings, meanings and answers, and we correct errors when they are pointed out. Even so, the games are a pastime and a practice aid. They are not an authority, and they should not be relied on in place of a dictionary or a teacher.

Ownership

The games, guides, question banks and design are our own work and are protected by copyright. The proverbs used in some games are traditional and belong to everyone. The list used to check typed words is derived from an openly licensed word list.

Third parties

Adverts come from outside providers and are not endorsements. Sites you reach through adverts or links are governed by their own terms.

Copyright complaints

To report an infringement, email hello@example.com with the page address, a description of the work, your contact details, a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised, and a statement that the notice is accurate and that you hold the rights or act for the holder. Valid complaints are acted on promptly.

No warranty

The site is provided as it stands. It may be unavailable at times and may contain mistakes. Results are held in your browser and can be lost. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss connected with use of the site.
